    • That’s a really tough question to answer. Dogs that don’t like being alone could be suffering from separation anxiety but they could also just hate the lack of a companion. The latter ones do quite nicely with another dog in the house as a companion.

  1. Had a dog that’s not on this list that just hated to be alone. Would tear up the house every time I went out. Eventually I got another dog to keep it company. That worked.

  2. Personally I think that dogs should always have someone around. I have read stories of people coming home to find their dogs either injured or dead because they got into mischief while they were alone. At the very least people should crate their dogs when they are going out.
